SavageX is an adult community. You must be 18 or older to be whitelisted. Misrepresenting your age on an application is an immediate removal.
Rules
SAVAGEX RP
These are the standards that keep Los Santos worth playing in. Read them before you apply — every applicant is expected to know them, and “I didn't read the rules” has never once been a defense.
Learn these and most of the ruleset becomes common sense.
Value your life
Your character is a real person with one life to lose. Act like it — every single time a gun is pointed at you.
Play to create RP
The win condition is a good story for everyone in the scene, including the person on the other side of it.
OOC stays out of IC
What you know out-of-character does not exist inside your character's head. Ever.
Don't ruin someone's night
If your fun requires another player to have none, you're on the wrong server.

Out-of-character behavior. These apply everywhere SavageX exists — in Los Santos, in Discord, in DMs, and on stream.
Racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, and slurs of any kind are not roleplay. There is no in-character defense for this and no warning before action is taken.
Everyone here is a person on the other end of a mic. Harassment, targeted pile-ons, and deliberate cruelty toward a player are removals regardless of what your character would do.
In-character beef stays in-character. Carrying a scene into Discord, DMs, stream chat, or social media is a removable offense.
Sexual content involving minors, encouragement of real-world self-harm, real-life threats, and doxxing are instant permanent removals and are reported where appropriate.
Erotic roleplay is not permitted anywhere on SavageX. Fade to black.
Roleplay built on real-world tragedy — terrorism, mass shootings, suicide, pandemics, real ongoing conflicts — is not permitted.
Torture, extended captivity, and other heavy scenes need clear OOC consent from everyone involved before they start. Anyone may withdraw consent at any time — the scene stops immediately and without argument.
Talking another player into breaking a rule carries the same punishment as breaking it yourself.
Offensive or explicit Discord names, Steam names, and character names are not permitted on any SavageX platform.
Advertising other communities, servers, or services on SavageX, in our Discord, or in DMs to our members is a permanent removal.
If you stream or post SavageX content, you are responsible for your community. Viewers who brigade, stream-snipe, or harass players on your behalf come back on you.
Disagreements about staff decisions belong in an appeal, not in a video, a stream rant, or another server's Discord.
Your whitelist belongs to you, and only to you. This section covers accounts, bans, and anything you pay for.
No alt accounts. Your whitelist is tied to you as a person, not to a Discord login.
You are responsible for everything done on your account. 'My friend was playing' is not a defense — secure your account.
Accounts, characters, and whitelist status are not transferable. Buying or selling any of them is a permanent removal for both sides.
Returning on another account, IP, or hardware while banned converts any ban into a permanent one, and forfeits the right to appeal.
In-game money, items, vehicles, and property may never be exchanged for real currency or for anything outside the server.
If you lose access to the Discord account tied to your whitelist, open a ticket. Whitelist does not automatically follow you to a new account.
Supporter perks are cosmetic or convenience only and never grant an advantage in roleplay, in combat, or in a staff decision.
Refund requests are considered within 24 hours of purchase. A chargeback is a permanent ban with no appeal. Bans forfeit all purchases without refund.
Once a perk is applied to a character it stays with that character. It cannot be moved, resold, or transferred.
Property and stored assets may be released after 90 days of genuine inactivity. Logging in for a minute a week does not preserve them.
The shortest section with the harshest outcomes. Everything here is a permanent removal unless stated otherwise.
Mod menus, injectors, ESP, aimbots, speed hacks, teleports, and any tool that alters gameplay are permanent removals on first offense.
Macros or scripts that automate gameplay — grinding, spam-clicking, auto-crafting — are prohibited. Everything gained through them is removed.
ReShade, NVE, and similar visual mods are welcome. Anything that removes shadows, fog, night, or foliage for a competitive advantage is cheating.
Using a bug for any gain — money, items, position, escape — is an exploit even if you report it afterward. Everything gained is removed.
Found something broken? Open a bug ticket. Players who report exploitable bugs instead of using them are rewarded, not punished.
Emote-cancelling animations, clipping through geometry, stash placement outside a shell, and inventory tricks are all treated as exploiting.
Waiting at spawns, hospitals, or job-start points to farm players, items, or vehicles is prohibited.
If something breaks mid-scene, roleplay around it and report it after. Do not stop the scene to argue about a script.
The fundamentals. If you read only one section before you connect, read this one.
From spawn to disconnect you are your character. OOC talk in-game is limited to genuine emergencies and staff matters — everything else goes to a ticket.
Metagaming is using information your character never learned in-character. Streams, Discord, a friend's screen, name tags, and anything you read in a report are all outside your character's head.
- Watching a stream to find where a chase went, then 'happening' to drive there.
- Recognizing a masked player by their voice OOC and naming them.
- Acting on something you were told in a Discord call rather than on the radio.
Using a live stream for any in-character advantage is metagaming. So is giving a streamer special treatment, protection, or attention your character has no reason to give.
Powergaming is forcing an outcome onto another player or giving your character abilities they don't have. An emote describes your attempt — the other person decides how it lands.
- Bad: /me knocks you out and ties you up.
- Good: /me swings hard at your head — then waiting for their response.
- Also powergaming: spam-jumping to move faster, melee-spamming, flipping cars with your vehicle.
Nobody can be forced to sell or sign over a house, business, or vehicle, to withdraw money at an ATM or bank, or to use a crafting or purchase station. You may ask for spare keys as roleplay.
Act within the reality of the world. Behavior a real person in that situation would never do is FailRP, whether or not a specific rule covers it.
- Chatting normally with three gunshot wounds instead of screaming.
- Stopping mid-shootout to sell items or start a job.
- Dumping a car in the ocean, stripping parts, or ditching gear with no in-character reason.
Character names must be believable for the setting. No celebrity names, meme names, or titles as names. Unusual character concepts are allowed but must never break another player's immersion.
Your characters do not know each other, share memories, share assets, or work together. No transferring money, items, or property between your own characters.
You may only have one character in any given gang, crew, or business at a time.
/me describes what your character does. /do asks about or describes the environment and state. Neither one may decide another player's actions or replace a script the server already has.
- /me reaches slowly toward the glovebox
- /do is there blood on the seat?
Ignoring a /me, a /do, or someone actively engaging you in a scene is low-quality RP. Engage or disengage in-character — don't stand there silent.
Deliberately degrading other people's roleplay — ramming, mic spam, interrupting scenes, playing a 'pure chaos' character — is not a play style we host.
Prioritizing grind and payouts over interaction is a warnable offense. If your entire session was a spreadsheet, you're playing the wrong game.
Body-shooting downed players, teabagging, loud music, screaming into a scene you lost, and taunt-emoting the defeated are all removable.
The single most-enforced rule on any serious server. Your character is not a video game protagonist.
When a weapon is on you, when you're outnumbered, or when you're clearly beaten, your character fears for their life and behaves accordingly.
If a gun is pointed at you at close range and you had no chance to react first, you comply. Drawing on a rifle already aimed at your head is not brave, it's a rule break.
Significantly outnumbered — roughly 3 to 1 or worse — with weapons drawn, you comply. Numbers are a real threat, not a suggestion.
You may try to escape when a genuine opening exists — a distraction, cover, a moment of inattention. Sprinting into open ground under three rifles is not an escape, it's suicide.
Bulletproof glass is not courage. If you're surrounded and boxed in, your character still fears for their life.
Fear RP is heightened in police stations, hospitals, and public spaces, and different on contested turf. Read the room your character is standing in.
Gunshots, stabbings, and serious crashes have consequences. Play the pain, the shock, and the recovery instead of sprinting off the second you're revived.
Before anyone shoots, roleplay happens. This section defines what counts as valid initiation and what happens after.
Every hostile action needs clear, realistic initiation your target can actually hear and react to. Shooting first is RDM regardless of who they are or what they did last week.
- Valid: pointing a gun and demanding hands up, with a moment to comply.
- Not valid: a text message, a horn honk, or a demand shouted from a moving car at 80mph.
After initiating, give the other side roughly 5–10 seconds to comply, respond, or run. Initiation and gunfire in the same breath is not initiation.
Random Deathmatch — killing or downing without roleplay and valid initiation — is the fastest way off the whitelist.
Your vehicle is not a weapon. Ramming, running down, or repeatedly bumping players without established roleplay is VDM. Accidental contact you disclose and roleplay is not punished.
Do not enter a scene you have no in-character involvement in. Turf ownership, being the business owner, or an established prior conflict are the exceptions.
Never disconnect to escape an active scene, chase, robbery, or arrest. If you crash, reconnect immediately and return to where you left the scene.
Passing out, sleeping, using emotes to break animations, or using an unbreakable-window vehicle for combat advantage are all exploits.
Once a scene ends you may not immediately return to continue it. Groups involved in a shootout are on a 60-minute cooldown against each other. Build revenge as roleplay over days, not respawns.
Explosives may only be used within an active, well-initiated conflict or an approved destruction scene. Random detonation is an immediate removal.
Repeatedly staging fights in the same location, or looping conflict for gear and loot, is low-quality RP and will be shut down.
Killing your own character to avoid arrest, a robbery, or a scene is FailRP. EMS will not revive you and staff will act on it.
Criminal roleplay is core to SavageX. These rules keep it dangerous without making it miserable.
A maximum of 6 players may be involved in any hostile situation, rising to 8 for major heists. Police may respond up to 2:1 against the criminal group.
Lookouts, drivers, radio spotters, and anyone feeding information count toward the group limit even if they never leave their car.
You cannot add players to a scene mid-conflict or hand a scenario to a second crew. The group that starts it is the group that finishes it.
Heists need an actual in-character plan — a reason, a crew, an approach, an exit. 'Rob it and outrun the cops' is not a plan.
Store 45 minutes · Fleeca 90 minutes · jewelry and armored transport 120 minutes · major bank 180 minutes. One major heist per group per server restart.
No major crime in the 30 minutes before a scheduled restart or the 15 minutes after one. After an unscheduled crash, wait 15 minutes.
Player robbery requires in-character context. Never clean someone out — take what your character actually came for and leave them a reason to keep playing.
Players obviously new to town are off limits. So is re-robbing the same player inside 60 minutes.
A hostage must be an unwilling third party with real leverage. Fake hostages — a crew member, a friend, or anyone playing along — punish both sides.
Holding a player against their will is capped at 30 minutes unless they consent OOC to continue. Repeatedly targeting the same player for captivity is harassment.
Police, EMS, and government staff may not be targeted purely to strip their gear. Their equipment stays with them, and duty equipment is never handed over.
Scams need real in-character interaction and a real reason. Scams built on menus, teleports, buggy mechanics, or trades the script would not allow are exploiting.
A gang needs identity, territory, business, and rivalry — not just a body count. Crews that only generate gunfights get their status reviewed.
Rolling up and demanding money is not taxing. Taxing needs an established relationship, an established territory, and a real conversation. Excessive demands get revoked by staff.
Gang clothing, liveries, and territory must be things your character could realistically obtain through roleplay.
Do not sit on a robbery location waiting for the cooldown, and do not lurk near one to jump whoever starts it.
Provoking police purely to trigger a chase or a shootout is not criminal roleplay. Crime needs an in-character reason beyond boredom.
Corrupt police, EMS, DOC, or government roleplay must be approved by department leadership in advance. Unapproved corruption is treated as FailRP.
What happens when your character goes down, and what they're allowed to remember afterward.
If you respawn at the hospital, your character has no memory of how they died, who was involved, or what was said in the minutes before it. That knowledge is gone.
If EMS or a player revives you, you keep your memory of the scene — but your injuries take you out of it. You may not rejoin that conflict.
Stay away from the location of your death for 30 minutes, and take no hostile action against anyone involved in it for 60 minutes.
You may not go back to a scene to recover loot, evidence, or a vehicle once the scene has ended and NLR applies.
Retiring a character permanently is the owner's decision alone. Nobody can force a permadeath on your character.
Do not interfere with, rob, or shoot at EMS treating a patient. When EMS is on scene, the scene has paused. Refusing to cooperate with medics is removable.
Waiting at hospitals to taunt, re-engage, or follow players you just downed is prohibited.
Taking your own character's life triggers full NLR and will not be revived. It is never a way out of an active scene.
Places where everyone agrees to leave people alone.
Hospitals, police and fire stations, the DMV, job centers, government buildings, and the spawn area are green zones. No criminal activity of any kind inside them.
You cannot start hostile roleplay from inside a safe area and then step outside to finish it.
Running into a safe area to end a scene you're losing is FailRP. The zone protects people going about their day, not people escaping consequences.
Do not initiate hostile roleplay against players actively using a shop, a teleport, a property door, or a job station.
Players just released from jail or serving community service may not be engaged in hostile roleplay until they've left the area and had a chance to get on with their day.
Treat the prison as fully manned by DOC even when no officers are online. Serious crime around it without staff approval is FailRP, and lifers may not escape without approval.
Los Santos runs on cars, and most rule breaks happen inside one.
Realistic driving at all times. No cross-country off-roading in a supercar, no cutting through pedestrian areas, no driving off cliffs to escape a chase.
Wreck at speed and you play it out. Walking away from a 120mph impact without a limp is FailRP.
Vehicles should make sense for who your character is and what they can afford. A fresh arrival does not own a hypercar.
Stashing getaway cars purely to break a pursuit, or hopping into a friend's car mid-chase to disappear, is not roleplay.
Police cruisers, ambulances, and fire apparatus are off limits unless the scenario is approved in advance. Joyriding one is an immediate removal from the scene.
Helicopters and planes are for transport, business, and reconnaissance. Using one to trivially escape police, or dropping into an active conflict, is prohibited.
Stanced, clipped, or otherwise abused vehicle builds may not be used in criminal activity or pursuits.
Dumping cars in the ocean, stripping them, or torching them with no in-character motive is low-quality RP.
How you communicate — in character, on the radio, and to an audience.
Voice is how Los Santos runs. You need audio others can clearly understand. Push-to-talk is strongly recommended, and staff may ask you to fix persistent audio problems.
Scenes need to be understood by everyone in them. Other languages are welcome as flavor, but the roleplay itself happens in English. Live translation tools are not permitted mid-scene.
Discord calls, party chat, and any outside voice comms during roleplay are metagaming. If your character needs to talk, use the phone or the radio.
Radio traffic is your character speaking into a device. You can be overheard, and a radio can be taken off you. No radio use while downed, restrained, or detained.
No mentioning other servers or 'cities', bans, staff, streams, Discord, or referring to your other characters. Immersion-breaking vocabulary is a warnable offense.
Characters can be hostile and rude to each other. What they cannot be is bigoted, and staff may end any exchange being used to hide OOC abuse behind a character.
Music through voice, soundboards, screaming, and repeated noise ruin scenes for everyone in range.
Streaming is welcome. Use a delay during active scenes, never read chat for in-character information, and never point viewers at another player.
Copyrighted music and media broadcast through in-game audio put every streamer in the scene at risk. Don't.
Gang, business, and department Discords are extensions of SavageX and follow the same rules. Staff may request access, and any of it may be reviewed in a report.
How to raise a problem, and what happens after you do.
If something goes wrong in a scene, finish the scene and report it afterward. Stopping to argue mid-scene punishes everyone else in it.
Open a Discord ticket for anything that needs staff. In-game /report flags us for emergencies — it does not replace a ticket.
In-character incidents must be reported within 72 hours. OOC issues — harassment, hate speech, cheating, ban evasion — have no time limit.
Only players directly involved may report an in-character rule break. OOC violations may be reported by anyone who witnessed them.
Run a clipping tool. A 30-second clip resolves in a minute what an argument cannot resolve in an hour, and it protects you as often as it convicts someone else.
Staff handle cases through tickets so decisions are logged and reviewable. DMs get redirected.
Filing a report because someone reported you, or because a scene didn't go your way, is treated as harassment.
Knowingly false reports, doctored evidence, and claiming staff authority you don't have are all removable offenses.
If staff step into a scene, follow their direction immediately even if you disagree. The place to challenge a decision is an appeal.
No player may declare a scene void, paused, or invalid. That authority belongs to staff and nobody else.
Every punishment may be appealed once, through a Discord ticket. Appeal calmly and with detail — appeals written in anger get declined on sight.
No ruleset covers every situation. Staff may act on the spirit of these rules where the letter doesn't reach, and those decisions are reviewed by leadership on appeal.
The rules evolve as SavageX does. Changes are announced in Discord and it is your responsibility to keep up with them.
Every term the ruleset uses, in plain language. New to serious RP? Start here.
- IC / OOC
- In-character is your character's world and knowledge. Out-of-character is you, the player. Keeping them separate is the whole game.
- Metagaming
- Acting on information your character never learned in-character — from a stream, Discord, a friend, or a name tag.
- Powergaming
- Forcing an outcome on another player, or giving your character abilities or knowledge they don't have.
- RDM
- Random Deathmatch — killing or downing someone without roleplay and without valid initiation.
- VDM
- Vehicle Deathmatch — using a vehicle as a weapon against players without established roleplay.
- FailRP / LQRP
- Failed or low-quality roleplay — behavior that breaks the reality of the world or drags the scene down for everyone in it.
- Fear RP / VOL
- Value of Life. Your character is afraid of dying and acts like it whenever they're threatened, outgunned, or outnumbered.
- NLR
- New Life Rule. Respawn and your character forgets the death, stays away from the location for 30 minutes, and takes no retaliation for 60.
- Initiation
- The clear, hearable demand or threat that must come before any hostile action, with time for the other side to react.
- Third-partying
- Jumping into a conflict your character has no involvement in.
- Combat logging
- Disconnecting to escape an active scene or its consequences.
- Green zone
- A protected area — hospitals, stations, job centers — where criminal roleplay is not permitted at all.
- Cop baiting
- Provoking police purely to trigger a chase or a shootout, with no in-character reason behind it.
- Stream sniping
- Using a live stream to gain any in-character advantage. Always metagaming, always removable.
Punishments scale with severity and history. Most players never get past the first tier.
- 1
Verbal correction
A staff member explains the rule and the scene continues. Most first-time mistakes end here.
- 2
Warning point
Logged against your account. Points expire over time, but they stack — repeated warnings escalate automatically.
- 3
Temporary ban
Hours to days depending on severity and history. Used for serious in-character breaks and repeat offenses.
- 4
Whitelist removal
Your access is revoked. You may reapply after the stated period, and the application is reviewed against your history.
- 5
Permanent ban
Cheating, hate speech, ban evasion, chargebacks, and hard-limit violations. Appealable once, rarely overturned.
Read them? Then come make a name for yourself.
Questions about a rule are welcome in Discord — asking first is always cheaper than appealing later.
