Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

When you use the Service, we may collect:

• Discord account data: when you sign in with Discord we receive your Discord user ID, username, display name, avatar, and your roles and membership in our server. We use the “identify”, “guilds”, and “guilds.members.read” permissions only.
• Application data: the answers you submit in whitelist, department, or staff applications, and any appeals or reports you send through the site.
• Purchase data: when you buy a supporter package we store your Discord ID, which package you bought, the role granted, the period dates, and the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers so we can manage your perks.
• Technical data: limited request information (such as IP address) used temporarily to rate-limit forms and protect the site from abuse.

2. Information we do not collect

We do not ask Discord for your email address, and we never see or store your full payment card details. All card and billing information is collected and processed directly by Stripe under Stripe’s own privacy policy (https://stripe.com/privacy).

3. How we use your information

We use the information above to:

• Provide and operate the website, Discord, and game server;
• Review applications and assign or remove Discord roles;
• Process purchases and manage subscriptions, renewals, and expirations;
• Handle appeals, reports, and support requests;
• Enforce our rules and keep the community safe.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers we rely on to run SavageX:

• Discord — for authentication and to assign roles and send messages;
• Stripe — to process payments and manage subscriptions (see https://stripe.com/privacy);
• Our hosting and network providers — to deliver the website securely.

5. Cookies

We use a single, essential, encrypted session cookie to keep you signed in after you log in with Discord. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to operate the community, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Application records and purchase history may be retained for moderation and accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete your data, subject to the limits below.

7. Your rights and choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by contacting us in Discord or at [email protected]. You can also disconnect the SavageX application from your Discord account in Discord’s settings at any time. Some records may be retained where we have a legal or legitimate operational reason to keep them.

8. Children’s privacy

The Service is not intended for anyone under 13, or under the minimum age required by Discord in their country. We do not knowingly collect information from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypting the session cookie and limiting who can access community data. No online service can be perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We’ll update the “last updated” date above and, for significant changes, post a notice in Discord.
